DESCRIPTION:The EU GREEN Early Stage Researchers Conference 2026 will bring together Master’s and PhD researchers from across the Alliance for three days of interdisciplinary exchange\, collaboration\, and academic development at the Atlantic Technological University (ATU)\, Sligo Campus\, in Ireland. \nUnder the theme “EU GREEN Research & Sustainability\, Insights Across Disciplines”\, the conference will provide early-stage researchers with the opportunity to present their work to an international academic audience\, receive constructive feedback\, and connect with peers and experts from different disciplines and institutions. The event also aims to foster collaboration around sustainability-related research and strengthen the EU GREEN research community. \nIn addition to academic sessions\, participants will have the opportunity to engage in networking\, social\, and cultural activities showcasing the West of Ireland. SUMMARY:ICOCIMS International Student Congress on Clinical Innovation and Medical Sciences
DESCRIPTION:ICOCIMS is an international biomedical student conference held in the charming city of Parma\, Italy. It is a fast-growing international platform where future healthcare professionals gather to exchange ideas\, present their research\, and build professional networks. Organised by students\, for students\, ICOCIMS welcomes (bio)medical students worldwide\, including undergraduate and graduate students in Medicine\, Biotechnology\, Pharmacy\, and related fields. This congress unites participants from diverse academic backgrounds\, offering unique opportunities to connect with peers and potential mentors across borders. The rich and dynamic program features keynote lectures by leading experts\, oral and poster sessions for students to formally present research\, and hands-on workshops to develop scientific and practical skills. Also included are career development sessions\, networking events\, and social activities designed to foster intercultural exchange and new ideas. Informal moments like coffee breaks are integrated to encourage meaningful dialogue and lasting collaborations. The event’s organization is guided by a professor-led Advisory Board\, working in close cooperation with the Organising Committee\, fully composed of students. \nThe 2026 edition of the congress will be held fully in person from November 12th to November 14th\, at the Central Building\, University of Parma (Strada Università 12\, Parma\, Italy)\, and SIM.LAB\, Department of Medicine and Surgery\, University of Parma (Building 27\, University Hospital – Viale Antonio Gramsci 14\, Parma\, Italy) . \nMembers of the EU GREEN Alliance are invited to submit abstracts by 15 August 2026 using the dedicated online form. Registration for EU GREEN participants (both presenters and attendees) will be open from 15 September to 15 October 2026. Participants who miss this registration period may still register during the general registration phase. \nSubject to a minimum of 15 participants from EU GREEN universities\, dedicated social and cultural activities will be organised. Otherwise\, EU GREEN participants will be welcome to join the activities planned for all conference attendees. Participants are encouraged to choose sustainable travel options\, such as rail\, bus or carpooling\, whenever possible\, in line with EU GREEN’s sustainability values. \nFor further information\, please contact general.icocims@unipr.it. SUMMARY:ENTREPRENEURSHIP FESTIVAL 2026
DESCRIPTION:The EU GREEN Entrepreneurship Festival 2026 will bring together students from the nine universities of the Alliance at the University of Évora for five days dedicated to entrepreneurship\, sustainability\, innovation\, and collaboration. The Festival represents the culmination of an entrepreneurial journey that began with the EU GREEN Innovation Days and continued through a series of workshops designed to help participants transform challenges and opportunities into sustainable business ideas. \nDuring the Festival\, 18 selected business ideas – two from each EU GREEN partner university – will be further developed through practical sessions\, mentoring\, peer exchange\, and collaboration with experts from across the Alliance. Participants will have the opportunity to refine their projects and prepare their proposals before presenting them during the Final Pitch\, one of the central moments of the programme. SUMMARY:COP 2 - EU GREEN CONFERENCE OF PARTIES
DESCRIPTION:The second EU GREEN Conference of the Parties (COP2) will take place at the University of Gävle on December 3\, bringing together representatives from universities\, municipalities\, regions and partner organisations to strengthen cooperation around shared sustainability challenges. Building on the relationships established across the Alliance and its regional ecosystems\, COP2 will provide a space to exchange experiences\, identify opportunities for collaboration and explore how universities and regional partners can turn common ambitions into joint action. \nUnder the approach “From Good Practice to New Partnerships\,” the conference will focus on successful examples of collaboration from across the EU GREEN Alliance and consider how these experiences can inspire new initiatives in different regional contexts. The programme will open with perspectives on sustainable cities and citizen participation in the climate transition\, followed by the presentation of good practice examples demonstrating different forms of cooperation within the Alliance. \nA central part of COP2 will be dedicated to co-creation workshops\, where participants will work together to explore how successful approaches can be adapted\, transferred or further developed. Through these collaborative sessions\, the conference aims to move beyond the exchange of experiences and create opportunities for new partnerships and joint initiatives involving universities and their regional stakeholders. \nCOP2 reflects EU GREEN’s commitment to connecting universities more closely with the territories and communities around them.
