The second EU GREEN Academic Retreat will take place at the University of Évora from October 21 to 23, 2025, under the theme “Pedagogical Assessment in Higher Education: From Regulation to Grading.” This retreat follows the “train-the-trainers” model: selected participants are expected not only to gain advanced knowledge but also to replicate the training in their home institutions, expanding its impact across the alliance. The retreat includes sessions on assessment fundamentals, feedback practices, rubric design, and the challenges posed by generative AI in higher education.
The program follows a blended format combining the in-person retreat in Évora with a set of online sharing sessions, and successful participants will receive a microcredential of 3 ECTS (EQF Level 7). Experts such as David Boud, Annette Cosgrove, and Carina Ginty will join as guest speakers. Each partner is invited to nominate five committed participants ready to engage actively during and after the retreat.
