EU GREEN Internhips

Within the framework of the EU GREEN European alliance, several laboratories and research teams at partner universities offer internships open to students (including doctoral candidates) from the nine partner universities. The topics cover a wide range of fields (life sciences, environment, health, engineering, humanities and social sciences, etc.).

See below for the list of available opportunities and download the full description for more information (missions, required profile, conditions, etc.), ordered by university

Who can apply?

Students enrolled in one of  univeristies of the EU GREEN alliance. You have to apply to a university that is different than the one you are enrolled in. Example: if you are enrolled at the university of Angers, you cannot apply to an offer at this univeristy. However, you can apply for an internship in Parma.

What are the conditions?

The return mobility will be covered by EU GREEN.

For foreign students applying for an internship at the university of Angers, they will be paid according to national regulations if the internship is longer than 2 months.

Each university applies their own regulations.

From Biomass to Carbon Materials for Environmental Applications

This research internship aims to explore and develop innovative strategies for the valorisation of lignocellulosic by-products, vegetal biomass, through their conversion into carbon-based materials. These sustainable materials hold great potential for environmental applications, including the treatment of contaminated aqueous systems and their use in agricultural settings to enhance crop productivity and promote soil health.

The selected Master’s or PhD student will actively participate in ongoing experimental and analytical activities conducted at the laboratories of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and within the research centres MED and CHANGE, on the University of Évora, benefiting from a multidisciplinary environment focused on sustainability, materials science, and environmental innovation
