The first EU GREEN Student Conference will take place on March 6–7, 2026, at the University of Parma, under the patronage of the City of Parma and within the “Parma European Youth Capital 2027” initiative. This landmark event will gather around 150 students from all nine EU GREEN universities who, after two months of online collaboration, will work side by side to shape the future of the Alliance by drafting the document “A Road to Your Ideal University.”
Organised by students and for students, the conference reflects EU GREEN’s commitment to becoming a truly student-centered European University. The event will lead to a Student Declaration outlining shared goals and student-led proposals for promoting sustainable mobility, inclusion, well-being, and innovative education across EU GREEN campuses.

The Promotion Grant Group, composed of 18 students, will support project proposals aimed at advancing sustainability, inclusion, and collaboration within the Alliance. From local events to new student initiatives and partnerships, this grant helps turn student ideas into impactful actions.
This conference is not just an event — it’s a declaration of intent from the students of EU GREEN to co-create a more inclusive, sustainable, and empowering future for European higher education.
