The selection of nominated students will be completed by March 28. A dedicated number of position are reserved for EU GREEN students. Successful the nominees will get an email from the University of Gävle with further instructions for formal application. After having been nominated, selected students can only secure a place for the course if they formally apply by April 4 in the national studentinformation system for Sweden, Ladok

DESCRIPTION

After completing the course, the student should be able to
- explain the fundamental principles and concepts of thermal energy conversion
- describe the possibilities and limitations of heat transfer
- describe and demonstrate an understanding of the current technological maturity level of various technologies
- classify and compare different renewable technologies for thermal energy
- analyze and define sector coupling between thermal and electrical applications.
