DESCRIPTION

How can schools become spaces where every learner feels supported, included, and able to flourish? The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) entitled Sustainable Inclusion and Well-Being in Schools: Adapted Movement, Narrative and Creative Arts Approaches explores how learner well-being, sustainable inclusion, and creative pedagogical practices can be meaningfully integrated in contemporary schooling.

The programme is addressed primarily to Bachelor’s and Master’s students enrolled in teacher education, education sciences, psychology, arts education, and special needs education, as well as to students from related fields interested in inclusive and participatory approaches to learning.

Structured around five interconnected modules, the programme invites participants to explore:
• the relationship between emotion, well-being, and sustainable inclusion (Module 1);
• the role of adapted movement in participation and accessibility (Module 2);
• the use of narrative and visual-plastic arts as tools for expression and communication (Module 3).
These perspectives come together in a five-day Integrated Practice Lab at the University of Oradea (Module 4), where participants work in international teams to design and test inclusive micro-lessons inspired by real educational contexts. The programme concludes with a digital synthesis module (Module 5) dedicated to exploring how inclusive and well-being-oriented practices can also be implemented in online and hybrid learning environments.

Combining virtual collaboration with an international mobility experience, the programme encourages participants to develop reflective pedagogical thinking, creative instructional strategies, and a professional perspective oriented toward inclusive and sustainable educational development.
