The EU GREEN Sport and Cultural Event 2026 will bring together students and staff from across the Alliance for a shared European experience combining sport, culture, nature and cooperation in Extremadura. Taking place in Cáceres and El Anillo from October 19 to 23, the event is designed to encourage participants to connect beyond the classroom, exchange perspectives and strengthen their sense of belonging to the EU GREEN community.
Throughout the week, participants will take part in outdoor sports, cultural activities and collaborative challenges while discovering the natural and cultural heritage of Extremadura. The programme includes activities such as kayaking, paddle surfing, sailing and a boat trip, alongside visits to Granadilla, Hervás and Cáparra, a stargazing evening and an EU GREEN Challenge Lab focused on biodiversity and cultural exchange. The event places particular emphasis on inclusion, diversity, accessibility, environmental responsibility and learning together, creating opportunities to build connections, confidence and well-being through a common European experience.
