The Summer School will be combined with the “3-Minute Fame” finals and will focus on research excellence, AI in academia, and possible career pathways after PhD.
Day 1 will feature the official opening ceremony and the finals of the “3-Minute Fame” competition, followed by the award ceremony. The afternoon programme will include the EU GREEN Personal Mentorship Programme Symposium.
Day 2 will be dedicated to an in-depth, hands-on AI workshop for PhD candidates. The sessions will cover the use of AI in research question development, literature review and synthesis writing, data analysis planning, visual outputs, and ethical considerations related to AI use in academia. The day will also include a career development panel (“To Post-Doc or Not to Post-Doc?”) with invited speakers representing different postdoctoral pathways in Europe and beyond, followed by a post-doc networking session.
Day 3 will focus on academic career development, (presenting modern teaching methodologies) and alternative career paths in the business sector.
