WEBINAR DESCRIPTION Pollinators are important insect groups with a determinant role in biodiversity maintenance and crop production. They belong to different insect groups which feed on the flowers of several plant species. There are in severe decline in present due to several causes such as pollution, climate change, invasive species, etc. Their decline has environmental, economic, and social consequences. To stop their decline the EC has developed a program for their protection including monitoring schemes, a pollinator red list and mobilizing society to act against their decline. | ||
