A survey is being conducted across our nine partner universities to better understand how sustainability is perceived and integrated into teaching and research practices. The aim is to build a comprehensive overview of existing approaches and to explore the role of
Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in academic programmes. This questionnaire is intended for academic and research staff.
This initiative supports one of EU GREEN’s key objectives: to strengthen the integration of sustainability and ESD principles into teaching practices across the alliance’s universities.
The results collected from the nine universities will establish a baseline and guide EU GREEN’s educational strategy and future initiatives.

This survey is part of the BASE project (Baseline Assessment of Sustainability-related Educational practices and perceptions of the academic and research staff across EU GREEN), funded through the first EU GREEN Seed Funding Call launched in 2023. The project brings together the nine EU GREEN partner universities to explore current educational practices and perceptions related to sustainability within higher education.
