On 19 September from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm CET, the University of Gavle will host a Masterclass on critical and innovative thinking in higher education. During the event, the speakers Dr Caroline Sims, Dr Johan Liljestrand and Dr Ric Sims will:
– present teaching tools for developing students’ critical and innovative thinking skills in line with EU GREEN educational principles,
– discuss concepts such as ‘second order questions’ and ‘innovative and creative thinking’,
– present the use of Socratic dialogues in contemporary teaching across academic disciplines.
This masterclass is open to all staff across the 9 universities in the EU GREEN Alliance.
