Early Stage Researchers Conference 2026

This opportunity invites early stage researchers to present their work, exchange ideas with peers from EU GREEN partner universities, receive feedback from academic and professional audiences, and explore the role of research in addressing sustainability challenges across disciplines.

About the opportunity

The EU GREEN Early Stage Researchers Conference 2026 offers participants a platform to share their research in an international, interdisciplinary and supportive environment.

Participants will be able to present their work through oral or poster presentations, connect with researchers from across the alliance, and take part in a programme designed to foster academic exchange, professional development and collaboration.

Industry representatives and external stakeholders will also contribute to the event through panel discussions, offering feedback and insight into the real-world applications of research.

Who can apply?

This call is open to Early Stage Researchers from EU GREEN partner universities, including:

    • Master’s students.

    • PhD students.

    • Postdoctoral researchers.

Applicants must be registered students or staff members at their home institution in November 2026.

Thematic areas

Submissions may be presented across the following thematic areas:

 

    • Health and Life Sciences.

    • Environmental Science and Agri-Food.

    • Education, Policy and Sustainability.

    • Arts, Law and Social Sciences.

    • Engineering, Design and Built Environment.

    • Business, Economics and Innovation.

Applicants should complete the Early Stage Researchers Conference 2026 Registration Form and submit a 500-word abstract for an oral presentation or poster.

Selection criteria

Submissions will be assessed according to:

    • Relevance to the conference themes.

    • Academic quality.
