For the first time since the creation of the alliance, researchers from the Heritages and Tourism cluster came together in Angers for the Heritage in All Its Formsresearch seminar. The event provided members with an opportunity to meet in person, share their research, and strengthen collaborations developed across the European alliance.
“This workshop was an opportunity to get to know one another and to build on the momentum created around the cluster’s new focus on heritage and tourism. It also confirmed the richness and complementarity of the scientific approaches represented across our universities,” said Magalie Moysan.
The seminar featured three scientific sessions exploring the themes of evolving heritage, sustainable tourism, and heritage preservation.
Participants also presented posters showcasing educational initiatives developed within their institutions in the fields of heritage and tourism.
One of the highlights of the event was a research-creation session led by Martín León (University of Extremadura), dedicated to the sonification of biosignals, also known as “plant music.”
Finally, a workshop on Horizon Europe projects, led by Anaëlle Gérard, introduced existing funding opportunities and encouraged the development of future collaborative projects within the group.
