The EU GREEN Alliance has once again reinforced its commitment to international collaboration and interdisciplinary research through a dynamic week of meetings, workshops and networking activities hosted at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. Bringing together representatives from across the Alliance, the event became a key moment to advance joint initiatives, strengthen partnerships and shape future cooperation.
Throughout the week, researchers, academic staff and institutional representatives engaged in a wide-ranging programme designed to foster dialogue, exchange knowledge and build synergies across disciplines. The event highlighted the strength of EU GREEN as a platform where diverse perspectives converge to address shared challenges related to sustainability, innovation and regional development.

One of the central elements of the programme was the organisation of thematic workshops and working sessions, where participants explored ongoing projects and identified new opportunities for collaboration. These sessions enabled partners to align their research priorities, share methodologies and discuss future joint proposals, particularly in areas related to environmental sustainability, circular economy and resilient ecosystems.
In addition to structured sessions, the event provided valuable space for informal networking and peer exchange. These interactions played a crucial role in strengthening trust among partners and encouraging the development of new interdisciplinary teams. By creating opportunities for both formal and informal engagement, EU GREEN continues to build a strong and connected academic community across Europe.
The week also placed a strong emphasis on internationalisation and partnership-building, welcoming participants from different countries and academic backgrounds. This diversity not only enriched discussions but also reinforced the Alliance’s mission to create a truly European higher education ecosystem, where collaboration transcends borders and disciplines.

Another key outcome of the event was the advancement of future research initiatives. Participants worked on identifying funding opportunities and shaping proposals for upcoming European calls, ensuring that the knowledge generated within the Alliance translates into impactful projects with real societal relevance.
By promoting this type of intensive, collaborative experience, EU GREEN demonstrates its ability to transform meetings into meaningful progress. The activities held in Wrocław reaffirm the Alliance’s role as a driver of innovation, sustainability and cooperation within the European Higher Education Area.
