The in-person phase of the Blended Intensive Programme “Artificial Intelligence in Health and Sport,” coordinated by the University of Parma as part of the EU GREEN community alliance, recently concluded at the University of Parma. The initiative was organised by Giancarlo Condello, a professor in the Motor Sciences area of the Department of Medicine and Surgery.
Twenty-five students from five EU GREEN universities participated in lectures, workshops, and practical activities, exploring the world of artificial intelligence and its various applications in sport, medicine, and health. Led by professors from the University of Parma, alliance faculty, and external speakers, the participants were then invited to share their experiences through group work.
The programme also includes a “blended” online component, which will continue until 12 July.
This programme is part of the Blended Intensive Programme initiative organised by EU GREEN for the 2023/2024 academic year, in which the University of Parma is actively involved.
The implementation of short mobility programmes developed by the Alliance continues, with the aim of building a transnational university characterised by an increasingly ambitious, competitive, and innovative academic offering.
