The EU GREEN Alliance is excited to announce the second edition of the Language Cafés, an initiative designed to celebrate and practice the linguistic and cultural diversity within our academic community. This program provides an informal yet structured space for EU GREEN professors and staff to enhance their conversational skills in a supportive, international environment.
Languages and Schedule
In this phase, we will offer conversation sessions in English, German, and French, all led by native speaker instructors. Please note that these classes are not for beginners and are aimed at participants with a B1+ level or higher.
📅 Course Duration: March 21 – May 16, 2025 (8 weeks)
🖥️ Format: Online via Zoom
⏳ Frequency: 1 hour per week (morning or afternoon options)
Available Sessions
• English: Fridays 11:00-12:00 OR Fridays 13:00-14:00 (Madrid time)
• French: Wednesdays 11:30-12:30 OR Mondays 13:30-14:30 (Madrid time)
• German: Fridays 12:00-13:00 OR Wednesdays 15:00-16:00 (Madrid time)
How to Participate
There are 5 spaces per language, per university, prioritizing teachers, followed by staff. A minimum of 10 participants per language is required to open a group. If the minimum is not met, only one scheduled slot may take place.

Certification and Completion
Participants who attend 80% or more of the sessions will receive an official EU GREEN/UEx Certificate of Completion, recognizing their commitment to multilingual communication and professional development.
