The EU GREEN Alliance is excited to announce its participation in International Harmony Week, taking place during the first week of February. This initiative focuses on stress reduction, relaxation, and creating a calm, health-promoting environment for students and staff across all partner universities.
A variety of activities will be organized to encourage mindfulness, balance, and well-being. Among the planned events, the University of Gävle will host online yoga sessions in English, inviting all EU GREEN members to participate in guided practices designed to foster relaxation and inner harmony. Other universities will contribute with additional activities aimed at promoting a stress-free and peaceful academic environment.
International Harmony Week aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education. By promoting mental and physical well-being through relaxation and mindfulness practices, EU GREEN contributes to creating healthier learning environments where students and staff can thrive. In fostering a balanced academic and work-life experience, this initiative also supports lifelong learning, inclusivity, and resilience within the university community.
International Harmony Week is an opportunity to take a break from the demands of daily life, reconnect with yourself, and explore ways to improve mental and physical well-being. Stay tuned for more details on the full schedule of activities and how to join!
