The EU GREEN Entrepreneurship Festival is set to take place from November 26 to 28, 2024, at the University of Évora, Portugal, bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs, academic staff, and industry leaders to foster innovation and sustainability in business. This flagship event will showcase the EU GREEN Alliance’s commitment to empowering students and professionals with the tools and knowledge to drive positive change through entrepreneurship.
Over three days, participants will engage in a rich program of activities, including keynote speeches, workshops, roundtables, and a grand pitch finale. The event is designed to inspire and equip attendees to turn innovative ideas into impactful ventures, all while addressing pressing global challenges related to sustainability and community development.
The festival kicks off on November 26 with a keynote session by Bruno Reynolds from Oxentia, focusing on the commercialization process. This is followed by engaging workshops tailored for both participants and staff, such as “Pitch Smarter” and “Theory of Change”, led by strategic communications experts and innovation leaders. The day concludes with a visit to the historic Colégio Espírito Santo and a light dinner at Cozinha do Cardeal.
On November 27, the agenda dives deeper into real-world experiences with “The Start-Up Odyssey”, featuring pitches and stories from invited entrepreneurs. Participants will also take part in simulation exercises designed to refine their pitching skills, while staff members join collaborative meetings to exchange best practices.
The festival culminates on November 28 at the Alentejo Science and Technology Park, with a roundtable discussion on sustainable business models and the much-anticipated Grand Pitch Finale, where participants will showcase their entrepreneurial projects to an expert panel. The event concludes with a certificate delivery ceremony and a celebratory dinner.
