The EU GREEN European Alliance is excited to announce Phase 1 of the Language Café series, coordinated by the Vice Chancellorship of Academic Planning at the University of Extremadura, along with support from EU GREEN partners. This pilot phase offers free, weekly guided conversation sessions in English, Spanish, and Portuguese teachers and staff.
These 1-hour weekly Language Cafés are led by experienced, native-speaking instructors, providing an excellent opportunity to practice in an interactive, international setting. Regular participants will receive a certificate of completion from EU GREEN/Extremadura University at the end of the 4-week course in December.

•When: November 18 – December 13, 2024
•Where: Online via Zoom
•Who: Teachers have first priority, followed by staff, with 5 spots per language per university (15 spots total per university).
•Frequency: 1 hour per week (choose a morning or afternoon schedule)
•Languages and Schedule:
•English: Fridays 12-1 pm (Madrid) OR Thursdays 4-5 pm (Madrid)
•Spanish: Wednesdays 3-4 pm (Madrid) OR Fridays 10-11 am (Madrid)
•Portuguese: Fridays 11 am-12 pm (Madrid) OR Tuesdays 4-5 pm (Madrid)
With limited spaces, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and ends 3 days before the course starts. A minimum of 10 participants per language is required; if necessary, sessions may be combined into a single slot.
