From October 29th to November 3rd, Mario Fuentes and Sandra Mulica, senators and representatives of the EU GREEN Alliance, participated in the 2nd European Students’ Union (ESU) Conference of Student Bodies of the Alliances in Timișoara, Romania. Organized by ANOSR (National Alliance of Student Organizations in Romania) and ESU, the event gathered student representatives from over a dozen European university alliances, offering a valuable platform for collaboration and exchange among students across Europe.
Throughout the conference, Mario and Sandra connected with colleagues from various European alliances, sharing perspectives on the future of higher education in Europe. They attended impactful sessions, such as a high-level meeting with the European Commission focused on the influence of educational policies on student representation and a panel discussing new pathways for student mobility and exchange opportunities across the continent.
The conference also featured discussions on the evolution of student representation within the European Higher Education Area and how European University Alliances can empower student voices in decision-making. Mario and Sandra returned with innovative ideas to further enhance EU GREEN’s commitment to inclusivity and strengthen the role of student representation, fully energized to contribute to a more unified, accessible European higher education landscape for all.
