First Mobility call for teaching staff within the EU GREEN Alliance

EU GREEN ERASMUS+ STA Exchange Call for the Academic Year 2024/2025

The EU GREEN Alliance is excited to announce the launch of its first Erasmus+ STA (Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignment) Exchange Call for the academic year 2024/2025, offering teaching staff across the alliance’s partner universities the opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and share expertise.

What is the EU GREEN STA Exchange?

This initiative, supported by the Erasmus+ Programme and the European Universities Initiative, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthens ties between the nine EU GREEN universities. The program aims to foster the exchange of knowledge, methodologies, and innovative teaching practices, empowering educators to contribute to academic excellence across institutions.

The STA Exchange facilitates short-term teaching assignments, enabling participants to address their professional development needs while contributing to the educational goals of both their home and host universities. The program is also designed to support the creation of new academic pathways and methodologies, further enriching the alliance’s mission of sustainability and innovation in higher education.

Key Highlights of the Call

  • Eligibility: Open to all teaching staff within the EU GREEN partner universities.
  • Mobility Period: The call covers Spring Semester 2024/2025 and, in some cases, the 2025/2026 academic year.
  • Available Positions: Teaching topics span diverse disciplines, including environmental sciences, engineering, food technology, psychology, business, and linguistics.

How to Apply

Interested teaching staff can submit their application by completing the online form here by February 13, 2025. Applicants may apply for up to two teaching slots, prioritizing their preferences.

Selection and Funding

The Selection Committee will evaluate applications based on the applicant’s profile, expertise, and relevance to the host university’s requested topics. The number of fundable mobilities varies by institution, and successful applicants will have their mobility costs covered by their home university under the Erasmus+ Program.

The results of the selection process will be published on the EU GREEN website on February 17, 2025.

Why Participate?
