In June 2024, the University of Oradea (Romania) jointly with the Atlantic Technological University (Ireland) are organizing a collaborative event connecting all nine partners of EU GREEN in real-time to brainstorm innovative solutions for societal challenges, focusing on WATER RESILIENCE. This event highlights the importance of water for people, the environment, and the economy.
As part of the 2024 EU Green Week, the #WaterWiseEU campaign stimulates a Europe-wide conversation about sustainable water management and resilience in the face of climate change. Pressures on water resources stem from decades of poor management, pollution, and climate change. Globally, the water cycle is out of balance, exacerbating climate and biodiversity crises. “WATER RESILIENCE” is a key initiative to raise awareness of these challenges and promote sustainable solutions. The event will bring together experts, students, and industry representatives to address innovative and collaborative solutions.
