The EU GREEN Alliance has been included in the ‘Green Deal Action Plan for Universities’ report.
In line with T9.9 and T9.10, the EU GREEN brand is making a difference in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals. Thanks to the efforts of a Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy we Wrocławiu researcher, our partnership has been included in the ‘Green Deal Roadmap for Universities’ report, produced by the European University Association (EUA).
The EUA, which represents more than 850 universities in 49 countries, recognises the crucial role of universities in achieving a climate-neutral, sustainable and socially just Europe. Our inclusion highlights our commitment to green transformation beyond education and research.
Prof. Szymon Szewrański, a key contributor, shares: “It is an inspiration and an example of how universities can address climate challenges. UPWr is honoured to contribute to the discussions on the role of the university in the green transition.”
