The University of Extremadura presents the Work Package “Structuring research-based learning through Excellence Clusters” of the EU GREEN Alliance to its research community

On the 6th and 9th of June 2023, meetings with researchers from the University of Extremadura took place at the campuses of Cáceres and Badajoz to present the opportunities for collaboration in the #EUGREENALLIANCE.

In the framework of WP#3, the 6 clusters (research areas to organize that collaboration) and their recent work were exposed:

  • Cluster 1: Emerging paradigms for health and well-being.
  • Cluster 2: Agriculture, food and environmental sustainability.
  • Cluster 3: Engineering and technology for sustainable development.
  • Cluster 4: Sustainable tourism for cultural and natural heritage.
  • Cluster 5: Science education for sustainable development.
  • Cluster 6: Challenges in biodiversity and ecosystem function.
Declarations of interest submitted by local research groups in UEx to the European Projects Office (UEx) by 20/06/23 can be addressed during the Alliance’s Research Week to be held in Angers (France) at the end of June.
