A transversal, interdisciplinary sustainability path for all students
This short programme is available to bachelor students across all fields. Students earn a certificate upon completion and develop key competencies for addressing sustainability issues like:
The Minor in Sustainability is a collaborative and interdisciplinary short programme targeted to all bachelor students regardless of their study field who will get a separate certificate upon completion. The programme fosters key competencies for sustainability and prepares students to be able to use their disciplinary skills and engage into interdisciplinary collaboration to jointly find solutions to sustainability challenges, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, food security, water management, migrations and integration, democracy and human rights, among others. The programme is expected to be first offered in the academic year 2025-2026.
The programme will be composed of two mandatory curricular units (Sustainability Principles and Practices and Group project in Sustainability) and electives offered by all the partners and will promote plurilingualism and flexibility in learning.
